NextGEN gallery with Easy Fancybox edits disappear

  • So I’m trying to use a NextGEN gallery with the easy Fancybox pluggin. Which works mostly. (I followed these directions
    1. Go to your Settings > Media admin page and switch OFF the FancyBox Auto-gallery option;
    2. Go to Gallery > Other Options and set the Lightbox Effects option to “No lightbox” and click on Show Advanced Settings;
    3. fill the Code field with….)

    And Fancybox lightbox links fine, but there are no navigation arrows and I want the caption to be ‘outside’ instead of overlay. I can make the navigation arrows show up and the caption outside, and I save these settings, and they show up fine when I look at my site. BUT then the changes disappear when I clear my cache and cookies. I don’t know why they keep disappearing? Any ideas? I hope I explained that okay. Thanks in advance!
