[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery Voting] Dropdown voting problem

    Hi,

    I’ve a question concerning the NextGEN Gallery Voting plugin used with the Nextgen gallery plugin and I have no idea how to resolve this problem.

    I’m setting up a website for a photography contest.
    I’m testing it with the star rating and drop down rating.

    With the dropdown rating I have a problem when I want to rate an image.
    If I try to do this it seems to be linked to the image. I mean the large image shows up in the lightbox and it doesn’t registrate the rating.

    Can someone please help me out here. I’m really stuck with it.

    With the star rating I have a small problem.
    As you can see on the webpage the third star underneath picture 3 shows a “1”. Does anyone know where this comes from?

    Any help would be very much appreciated! Many thanks in advance.

    I don’t quite understand then question? I can’t see the random “1”, and the voting seems to work perfectly when I tried on your site.

    Sorry for my late reply.
    I was trying to find a solution and changed the placing of <?php echo nggv_imageVoteForm($image->pid); ?>

    First I put the string before the I changed it and put it after the and now the dropdown problem is solved.

    Concerning the “1” with the star rating.
    It only shows up when the rating is 2 stars.

    I see the problem is only once you have voted 2 stars. That is very strange, and I can’t replicate the problem on my of my test installs.

    Are you running NGGV 1.7.1? Can you try just re-downloading the plugin, and overwriting the ngg-voting.php file. The only thing I can think of is that you may have accidentally added a 1 to the source file while looking through it.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Hi shauno,

    I overwrote the php file and tried again with a new gallery.
    The 1 is still there when the rating is 2 stars.

    I’m using 1.7.1 and WP 3.0.5

    No biggie though. Everything else works perfect!

    btw, Is there a way to show the total number of votes together with the rating underneath the photos?
