    Hi @colewebdev,

    Let’s try to deactivate and remove NextGen plugins then install it anew to see if this will change anything.

    Deactivated and delete? Won’t that remove my galleries?

    Hi @colewebdev,

    No worries, we aren’t running any “cleaning” processes on plugin deactivation or removing so the galleries and settings will be fine.

    I deactivated, and deleted the NextGen Gallery plugin. Then reinstalled and activated and see the same error.

    Hi @colewebdev,

    Thank you for testing, now, let’s try something else:
    1) Make sure that the SQL user has both CREATE and ALTER permissions;
    2) Check to make sure that the SQL mode has been set to NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION (enabled)

    You can contact your hosting provider; they will be able to check these options.
    Please, keep us posted.
    We are happy to help!

    Hosted at WPEngine – not sure I can change these settings. I still see the error, even after updating (again).

    I am having problems with NextGen too. I am able to upload a gallery, but I cannot do any other commands in the NextGen gallery section. I receive this error message:
    Request-URI Too Long
    The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.
    Additionally, a 414 Request-URI Too Long error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I have version 3.2.23.
