@evita2030 – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you update from? Does your WordPress database user have *ALL* privileges?

Yes, I do have all privileges, that was the first thing I checked when error came. I updated from the previous one

@evita2030 – Your user access and the “database user” are not necessarily the same … generally they are actually quite different credentials.

@evita2030 – Please send us a Bug Report (https://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

We may need temporary log in (and FTP) credentials for your WordPress installation, please consider those for your Bug Report, too.

    Thanks!

@evita2030 – If you do not receive a reply within one business day from our support team then something may have happened to your report. I would suggest sending another report and we will do what we can to watch for it (just in case its getting spammed or some other unusual action).

    Thanks!

I’m having the same issue after upgrading to version 2.1.15. I’m running version 4.3 of wordpress. I’ve been using NextGen since 2011 without any issues, and in fact the plugin is still functioning without any problems. Nevertheless, I’m being given the error “NextGEN Gallery: Tables could not created, please check your database settings” whenever I login to my dashboard. I’m not overly concerned since the plugin seems to be behaving normally, but it’s still an odd error to see. My site relies heavily on NextGen, so if it were to fail it would be a huge problem for me.

    Thanks for any help!
