NextGen-Gallery script issue

  • I love this plugin, and I don’t love IE.

    Here’s my issue – I have a site that uses NGG a lot. On the front page is a slideshow of pictures, and when viewed on IE (7&8), it tells the visitor that there is a script on this page causing it to run very slowly. It then will not load the rest of the page, and often freezes the whole dang browser.

    I’ve gone through the plugins, and it’s definitely connected to the gallery somehow. I’ve tried to minify the scripts, but to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas on how to fix it?

    I have the same injure box on ie 7&8 (but nothing with chrome and FF) when a slideshow open.

    Argraff did you fix it ?

    Unfortunately no. I just switched it to a static image for the time being. So frustrating…
