NextGEN Gallery replacment

  • NextGEN Gallery uses its own proprietary image database format. This means that if you decide to use another gallery plugin you need to reload everything. This is a lot of work. Is there another gallery plugin that understands the proprietary NextGEN Gallery image database? In other words, I will not need to reload anything the plugin will actually run directly from the NextGEN gallery image database. Alternatively, is there a gallery plugin that has a conversion utility to convert NextGEN Gallery’s image database to its own database. I do not want to reload everything. I know about NextCellent Gallery. Is there any others?
