NextGen Gallery Plugin Install Fails

  • Fails with message “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    Previous installation attempts have also failed, with “Internal Server Error” message. Tried deactivating & deleting extraneous other plugins.

    Should I just continue to remove unneeded plugins, or might there be another path?

    If you do not need those deactivated plugins (the unneeded ones) then there’s no harm in removing them. It’s good practice to clean up your installation that way.

    When you get that message does your web server’s error_log file have anything in it that explains where the problem is?
