• I am working on a wordpress website and was working on it on one of my servers. Everything was okay but since the work is getting near to being finished I moved it to the new host. Everything went smoothly, but NextGen Gallery stopped working properly.

On the website, the gallery albums and photos are not displayed. The image links simply… lost their slashes and lead to a 404 error page.

When I went to the admin panel, the “Add Gallery / Images” option displays a message “You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.” and it’s impossible to add any new images. Also, when clicking “Gallery settings” or “Other options” a blank page is displayed.

Everything is still working properly on my other host so it’s most likely the fault of the new one. The “Overview” page displays the following info on the right side:
    https://przygarnij.e-net24.pl/uploads/ngg1.PNG

I have noticed the host, home.pl is using IdeaWebServer instead of Apache and I’m afraid it may be the reason for the problems.

Please help because I’m near my deadline ?? If there is an alternative WP plugin that allows creating albums and sub-albums, please recommend one if a solution for NextGen cannot be found.

Thank you in advance for any help.

@soulburner – You will likely need our external Reset Tool plugin to sort out the migration issue(s) you are seeing. Please send us a Bug Report (https://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) asking for it so we can get it out to you.

Also, thank you for noting the “new” host is home.pl … please ensure the directory separator is correctly set if you see paths/URL missing a slash (we have corrected this as best we can but there are still instances that are affected by their server settings).

Thank you for your quick response. I will send the bug report in a moment, but I don’t think it’s a migration issue. I removed all files from the host, removed everything from the database and started totally from scratch. Installed WordPress, installed NextGen Gallery and… same thing, meaning blank pages for settings and “You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.” under Add Gallery / Images.

I will try looking for the directory separator stuff later today also.

@soulburner – Thanks. That particular hosting service has caused many issues … most of which we have written in work-arounds for.
