NextGEN gallery lightbox not functioning properly

  • I am using the NextGEN Gallery and the lightbox function is not working properly
    the code I used is:
    [dcs_ngg gid=”7″ width=”100″ height=”100″ count=”25″ bcolor=”#CFFF91″ bwidth=”3″
    margin=”0px 5px 5px 0px”]
    (the dcs is from the theme I use – Digital Cavalry)
    also in
    GALLERY>OPTIONS>EFFECTS> I have selected “lightbox”

  • This might be an obvious question, but do you have a Lightbox plugin installed? NextGEN only comes with Shutter. You need to have a separate Lightbox or Thickbox plugin in order to use the other options.

    I am using a theme and I think there is already a lightbox functioning because it works on some other pages. I have 2 different sites with the same theme on the one site the lightbox works but on the other it doesn’t I have the exact same code on the two video pages and one opens up in lightbox and one doesn’t!

    the set up for both sites is the same, I will check again but I can’t figure out the difference.
