NEXTGEN GALLERY – How to move to a new blog?

  • Hi all,

    I have searched the web and I’ve searched the forums for a way to move my gallery to a new blog and can’t find anything except unanswered forum questions! This leads me to believe that it’s virtually impossible!

    BUT, as with all things WordPress, I do believe there is a solution out there! Please help! How can I easily move my NextGen gallery from my present blog to a new blog?

  • I have never tried this and I am a little skeptical about how smooth this transition will be. But first, you need to back up your site. On the new site, install your NextGen and then restore your site on the new blog keeping the same URL structures you had before.

    I hope this works.

    Thanks for the idea, Seye! I’ve already uploaded my site to my new blog and did not include my Nextgen gallery.

    Can I export it via cpanel?
