NextGEN Gallery Geo not working anymore.

    I noticed that the NextGEN Gallery Geo plugin hasn’t been updated in a few years and now i’ve updated my WordPress + NextGEN Gallery to the latest version (WordPress 4.2.2 & NextGEN Gallery 2.1.0) the NextGEN Gallery Geo plugin isn’t working anymore. No maps are displayed while i have the “How should the maps be included?” option set to “automatically, when a gallery is used (recommended)”

    I can not find any alternatives that work with NextGEN Gallery so i was wondering if this can be fixed.
