In general NextGen rocks pretty hard most of the time. However, today I tried adding a photo gallery to a page and got this message:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/tinymce/window.php on this server.
    Apache/2.0.54 Server at https://www.tlsignaturesalon.com Port 80

    Things I’ve tried:
    1) I deactivated and reactivated all my plugins.

    2) Tried to edit the file permissions for window.php.

    So far, no luck.

Any body else seen this? Any suggestions?

I’m getting the same issue when trying to use the Plain Text button in the text editor. So now I’m thinking its either an issue with TinyMCE Advanced as well as my web host… MediaTemple.

The reason I say MediaTemple may be involved is because I’m getting having the same problem on other sites I host with them.

Apparently, others have had the same problem. Moxiecode, the creators of TinyMCE haven’t responded much to the issue. One person says it may be an issue with the httpd.conf file.

I’ve never messed with that file. Anyone got any advice?

Going through MediaTemple’s support process and followed one of their recommendations.

    It didn’t work.

While on the phone with MediaTemple the solution popped into my head.

Our sites MediaTemple sites recently got hacked so I installed tons of security plugins. One of which was WP Secure by Site Security Monitor.

This plugin allows you to restrict access to wp-content and wp-includes. After taking of these restrictions my site worked fine.
