NextGen gallery dynamic folder

    Hi Team,

    I am using the nextgen gallery plugin on the website. I noticed that the “dynamic” folder was created inside every gallery. Due to this dynamic folder I am running out of disk usage on the website. Please let us know how to disable in creating the dynamic folder on the nextgen gallery. Also, please let us know if I can goahead and delete all the dynamic folders on the nextgen gallery.

    Please advice me on this and help to remove the dynamic folder from the nextgen gallery plugin.

    @johncalabe – The dynamic folder is created and used when you insert displays that do not use the default thumbnails from the gallery/galleries in the display. There is no method to disable it and it is not recommended to remove these dynamic folders as they will just be recreated with the next view(s) of the inserted displays that need them.

    I would recommend reviewing you hosting service’s offerings and consider more disk space as a better solution given you are running low now you will run low later for any number of other reasons.
