    Hi!

I have enabled https for my website but when i enter my website address then the page is being displayed as not secure. After i click a menu item or link on my page then it shows that connection is secure.

After i disabled NextGen Gallery plugin then page is being loaded as secure from the start. What might be the cause of this? Is there a way to fix it?

I even tried with Redirection plugin and added redirection to .htacess file but on both cases i got error about too many redirections.

    Thank you!

@hali123 – Although the implementation of the HTTPS protocols is outside the scope of our support for the plugin itself in most cases it comes down to a case of the entire site not being updated/migrated to the HTTPS protocols.

Once you have ensure both the front and back ends of the site are using the SSL certificate you may need to use the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options to update the internal path/routing that NextGEN Gallery uses.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

If i deactivate NextGen Gallery plugin then all pages are displayed as secure. I have uninstalled NextGen Gallery plugin and i have used Reset Option but it has not helped. When i turn on NextGen plugin then i have problems with pages using https protocol.

Could it be some kind of conflict with WPML plugin? I did notice that when WPML was deactivated and NextGen activated then pages were using https again.

    Thank you!

@hali123 – Well, this does point to that possibility. Have you brought this to the WPML authors’ attention?

    Hi!

Yes i have, waiting for a reply from them.

If it is a conflict between these two plugins then how long it might take to find a solution? Or does it mean i need to stop using one of the plugins?

    Thank you!

@hali123 – I suspect this will likely be with WPML more than NextGEN Gallery and they are quite good at fixing these types of issues.

    Thanks!
