NextGEN Gallery and title text

    Hello!
    I’m pretty new to WordPress, so I hope this is a simple issue for you.

    I’ve an image gallery created with NextGEN, where I have all metadata filled. In particular, for each photo I have an alt/title text and a description.
    When I open the gallery and keep the mouse over the image for a few seconds, the description of the picture appears, but I was expecting to see the title. This is a bit ugly, because the description might be very long.
    I’d like to obtain the same when the image is popped up. In this case the description is showed below the picture but again, I’d like to see the title. I’ve disabled the lightbox and using the my theme’s default settings. My theme is Enfold.
    Is it possible to obtain this without deleting the image description from metadata?

    Hi I have a similar issue with my gallery – https://nickthake.com/epic-doctor-2015 for people to be able to select their image so that i can quote on high res i really need the image name to show up on the larger image. When on thumbs viewing the user can hover over the thumb and that works ok. I note that other gallery options have the image name under the large image, the only drama is the basic thumbs gallery is more suited to this photographer process – i.e. people can skim through photos quickly to find themselves.

    I’d also be interested if there was a way to use metadata in each photo and enter the clients race number, then have a search field on the first page – is Nextgen capable of this?

    @luigitrevisi – This is most likely going to be a theme related issue (we’ve had several that fall back to the Enfold theme). When I visited your site I immediately hovered over an image and saw what appeared to be the title, but once the page was fully resolved an overlay was then seen when hovering over the image as well as the description. Neither of these are directly relate to the NextGEN Gallery functionality.

    Have you contacted the Enfold authors for any assistance with this?
