• I have installed the latest version of Nextgen Gallery. I have used the previous version for some time and have never had any trouble. But with the new version, when I try to add photos, it gets to the page: “Create new thumbnails” section and just sits there. I have tried just uploading 1 photo, so it should be pretty fast, but it just sits there for hours and never does anything.

Has anyone else run into this issue?
Anyone know what to do with this or what the issue might be?

Thanks you. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • i am experiencing exactly the same problem. any help available?

forgot to add, running latest edition of nextgen and WP 2.5. thanks.

I am getting the same – have been using the previous version for ages without problems, I then upgraded to the new version and it got stuck on ‘creating thumbnails’ I rolled back to the previous version but it still doesn’t work. Really frustrating!! I am running WP2.5 also.

well, it appears this may be browser related. can anyone confirm? i created a test album using IE7 and it worked. i was using FF3B5 when i ran into my problems with this.

well, it appears that i spoke too quickly. i tried it again with much larger files and it’s hanging up again, this time in IE7.
