    Hello Guys,

    First of all thanks a lot for the great gallery made with nextgen. I’m using it now for more than 1 year without any bug until latest version.

    I have 102 albums with 8’000 pictures showing in a page. Until latest version, when I have a new gallery, I was just adding it in the page of gallery into the plugin.

    Now, with the latest version, every time I have a new gallery I have to rebuild all the albums into my page. The latest version do not keep memory of what actual gallery is.

    I don’t know if you understand me…Prior the latest versions, if I have a page with 102 albums and need to add an additional album to 103, it was only necessary to go to the gallery page and add new gallery and sort it (obviously it has been previously created…). Now, if I do the same thing, I have to rebuild all albums page, no one is there even if its correctly showing on public page, but if you modify it, you have to restart every time. That’s quite long when you have huge gallery.

    Any idea on how we could solve this? Or did I miss something in the latest update?

  • @spotssen – We may still not be quite clear what you’re seeing. Let me try to clarify with these questions:

    1) Whatever page where you have those albums inserted, when you go to edit that page (not yet clickding to add anything new), do you still see all the placeholders for your existing albums that are inserted into the page?

    2) Assuming #1 is yes, I want to confirm that what you are doing next is just clicking the Add Gallery button to insert one more album? I assume you are trying to add this album at the bottom of a very long page (since you already have 102 albums inserted).

    3) When you say ‘I have to rebuild all albums page’ do you mean you are clicking the Add Gallery button 103 times to insert 103 separate albums? Or are you doing something within the Insert Gallery Window itself, but on the Manage Albums page?

    Ok sorry, I was not really clear.

    On page “https://www.spotssen.com/photos-spots/” you have all my actual albums.

    Until latest version, if I need to add an album, I go into this page and modify the plugin of nextgen inside page to show up new album and sort it inside.

    Now, I do the same thing, I go into the page, then into the plugin of nextgen inside the page. The issue is that now the plugin is not keeping the 102 albums into it. Every time I have an additional album, I need to pickup the 103 albums separately and sort them again, meaning 15 minutes where in the past, only the new album was added and resorted.

    Can I add print screens here? Otherwise I can transmit you by email. Thanks a lot edanzer!
