When I update nextgen gallery to 2.0.71 it shuts down my site – I can not open it and I cannot login as administrator.

I get this message: Exception thrown

    No utilities registered for I_Display_Type_Controller

If I go to the filemanager and remove the plugin nextgen gallery – I am able to se my site (without galleries) and log in as an administrator. I have next gen gallery pro installed as well.

my site is https://www.kunstgruppendjurs.dk and the galleries are in i.e. in
“malerier” showing the album with approx 20 gallerier.
Can you help me to get the nextggen gallery working again – it’s really perfect for my use.

Problem solved – it was not the new version 2.0.71 – that caused the problem, it was the old version of the pro pluging. ??

@halgaard How did you resolve this ?

I’m still completely locked out of my site and admin site with the <<< No utilities registered for I_Display_Type_Controller >>> error.

I can’t get in to do anything !

@paul33 – You will probably need to access your site via FTP to deactivate your plugins then ensure *all* of your plugins are up-to-date, and reactivate NextGEN Gallery first then go from there.

If you are still having issues after that process, please start a new topic.

    Thanks!

@Paoul33 – Yes, via FTP or the file manager from your webhost. find the folder wp-content/plugins/ delete folder for nextgen-gallery-pro. You are now able to edit your website again. install the next-gen gallery and activate it.

go to https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/ and log in to download the newest nextgen-gallery-pro.
go to your website and plugins and upload the new version of nextgen-gallery- pro. This is what I did.
