• Hi all,

I’ve developed a WordPress site locally and all worked perfectly. I uploaded the site and although the site works well, the dashboard came to a halt. After disabling the plugins one by one (via ftp and renaming them manually) I found the culprit to be the NextGen Gallery plugin.

I can disable it and then use the dashboard as normal to edit pages and whatever, but then I have to re-enable it to display my galleries on the website. This is obviously a pain for me and other users that will be posting to the site.

My question is – although I’ve read a lot about how to find out where the problems lay in WordPress websites and the admin dashboard, nowhere seems to talk about how to find out WHY the plugin is broken and how to fix it!

Has anyone got any good advice please?
