  • Hello @unwantedlife

Sorry, we were unable to see the problem on that particular link.
Nevertheless, you might need to check for any existing conflicts.

1.- Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.

2.- Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.

3.- If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.

Note: if the problem persists, please try to share with us a screenshot of the problem and perhaps how are you including our gallery inside the blog post or page.

Please let us know how it goes.

    hi,

did you look at it on the WordPress App or just in a browser? because I’m reporting the problem with your plugin not working with the WordPress App, not viewing it in any browser

    Apologies @unwantedlife,

It seems that I rushed into answering your thread.
There is an existing bug report related to XML-RPC and NextGen Gallery.
That report mentions the WordPress App.

We need to take some notes and escalate this conflict to our developers
We may need to deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting temporarily. Would you feel OK with that?. If so, please report this issue as a bug using this form: https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/. Be as specific as possible and let them know Gaby referred you.

Note: do not forget to include this forum’s link.
    Many thanks!

Wouldn’t the conflict be with your plugin and the WordPress app, rather than your plugin with other plugins/theme?

Your plugin works fine in every browser I’ve viewed it on, so theirs no plugin conflicts when viewed through a browser. It’s only a problem with the WordPress app

Plus, my theme is irrelevant with the WordPress app as it’s not use in the app. I. Assume every WordPress site is turned to a WordPress default for their WordPress app

Pretty much everything on the bug report form seems irrelevant to the problem as well due to how the app works.

It seems more like its an issue with the WordPress app and the code your plugin uses

    Hi @unwantedlife

    Yes, apologies.
You are correct the problem should be related to WordPress app not letting our plugin work somehow. But we need that bug report to escalate that back to our developers. We need some descriptions to replicate the problem. If possible, please share some screenshots, be as explicit as possible.

We can’t troubleshoot anything without a bug report back in our ticket system; it’s part of our protocol, please bear with us.

Since you mentioned that it’s only with “WordPress app” indeed we’ll probably don’t need to perform testing on your site. But let me assure you that we usually test that because sometimes users do not perform that test before reporting a problem.

Again, apologies. We are happy to check this particular issue.

Where am I meant to be uploading the screenshots? There was no option to on the bug report

Ok, it also doesn’t work with the WordPress reader in a browser either

    Hi @unwantedlife

Thank you so much for filling that report.
You can add the screenshots in a sharing platform like google docs, dropbox, or something similar. But we were able to replicate the issue.

    Here is my answer:
?At this moment, www.remarpro.com does not allow our plugin to be visible in their App. ?
You can use the regular WordPress edition mode in desktop to include and edit our galleries with wordpress.com sites.

We already shared this as a “Feature request” to be review by our developers.
