NextGen breaks dropdown menus on Reverie

    I want to use Reverie theme, but the drop down menus do not appear with NextGen installed. Once I deactivate NextGen, all the dropdown menus appear again.

    I create a test site: https://test.dglowin.com using WP 3.8.1 and NextGen 2.0.40. There are no other plugins activated. In the header’s primary navigation, there are drop down menus. Once I activate NextGen, they no longer appear on hover.

    Any ideas?

    @devra – We do not have any current reports of this issue you are seeing but have you tried our latest beta version to see if it will help sort this issue out? See this page for more details: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

    You may also want to contact the theme author to see if they are working on anything that may help with this issue as well.

    Hello,
    i have the same problem. I install beta version 2.0.57.1 but my in menu shows only arrows and no drop down menu.
    My theme is INterno.
    When i disable nexgen everything looks fine.
    I downgrade to version 2.0.40 and everything is ok.

    @v.dimitroff – Please start your own topic as you are referencing a different theme and the issue may not be related … and thank you for letting us know the latest beta did not correct your particular theme possibly using an extremely outdated version of jQuery.

    Fixed.

    For the Reverie theme, NextGen 2.0.57 fixes the dropdown problem.

    How you fix the problem?

    When I updated NextGen to 2.0.57, my dropdown menus started working again. This worked on Reverie theme. Good luck with your theme.
