NextGEN breaks BuddyPress links and nagivation

BuddyPress 2.1.1When NextGen is active, various buddypress links don’t load correctly. Hovering over the link in the browser shows the correct url and when clicking on it, the browser attempts to visit the right page. However, before any content from the new page loads, the wrong page with the wrong url loads…
For example…
https://xyz.com/activity/p/7/ would end up showing
https://xyz.com/partnersWhen NextGen is deactivated, all the buddypress links work fine…
