• Hello,

    I upgraded from 1.9.x to 2.0.x. At the moment it look like the most is working.

    However, I have only one problem. I read the following “?Changed: Displayed galleries are no longer rendered in RSS feeds” and looked to my RSS Feed and found the missing pictures.

    Is there a way to enable that needed feature?

    At the moment people are thinking that there are no pictures in the article, because there are no one rendered for RSS feed. There is also no placeholder… which would be also Ok for me, but nothing is really bad.

    regards, Andyt

  • I will ditto this bug report.

    The lack of other people complaining suggests maybe a configuration issue, but I cant see anything obvious.

    Basically, where images used to appear is now nothing whatsoever.

    This is still a serious issue.

    No images whatsoever appearing in the RSS feed just an empty paragraph marker.

    I’ve checked all the settings I can think of, but nothing seems to explain the sudden vanishing act.

    @andyt8 + @ianvisits – Have you looked at Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous … Add MediaRSS link?

    If that does not sort out the issue you are seeing, please submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) with your site specific details so we can try to help you get this sorted out.

    Thanks!

    @cais
    Any update on the missing pictures in the RSS feed? Is already a bug report entered and a NextGen Gallery plugin update planed?

    @thomast – We are reviewing issues with the RSS feeds image and looking to try to make it more consistent with its output. We do not have an ETA on when those enhancements and fixes will be released at this time.

    Thanks.

    – Cais.
