    Ha! Fixed it by changing line 179 in nggallery.css
    from
    padding:12px 0pt 0pt 7px !important;
    to
    padding:0px 0pt 26px 7px !important;

    I’ve checked it in Firefox, Chrome, IE9 and Safari on iPhone so that’s good enough for me ??
