NextGen 2.1.26 to and 2.1.31 – Galleries stop showing in WP 4.5.2

    HI,

    I know the plugin does not yet declare compatibility with WP 4.5.x but I thought I’d report this anyway.

    I have upgraded to WP 4.5.2 with NG versions 2.1.26 to and 2.1.31, they both break. Galleries stop showing. As soon as I roll back to WP 4.4.3 they work fine again.

    Looking forward to an update ??

  • I’m having the same issue.
    New Galleries post and work just fine under the new platform, which is nice, but I’ve been using shortcodes from the previous version and they seem obsolete at this point.

    @syllogic – Although NextGEN Gallery may not specifically say we are compatible with WordPress 4.5.x (we just haven’t updated the readme.txt file to say so) it is as far as we are aware. In almost every report similar to this we have found that another plugin or the current theme on the site has a jQuery syntax issue which is stopping other JavaScripts from executing and thus it appears NextGEN Gallery is broken … once the jQuery problem is resolved NextGEN Gallery goes back to working as it did prior to updating to WordPress 4.5.x

    Also same problems here. I use WP 4.5.2 with theme Temptation from Inkhive with nextgen gallery 2.1.43.
    Since i upgraded to wordpres 4.5.2 my sliders don’t work anymore.
    Please advise or help please
