NextGEN 2.0.10 Beta Available

On the LatestBeta site it is correct.

@markus2013: Oh, yup. I can’t edit the post above, but yes, we decided to remove them. Uninstalling removes galleries. The Reset Button was actually doing that as well. And we had several users hit that and lose their galleries. For now we’ve removed it to prevent that kind of problem. We’ll reintroduce later in a more systematic way once the current issue list calms down.

Wanting to try the 2.0.10 beta (the official release seems to give me error while uploading images) but the link for the download seems to be broken.

NGG v. 2.0.10 beta works fine with WP 3.5

However, I am still afraid updating to 3.6 …

I`m recieving white page on beta too. What i found in chrome response headers:

Unfortunately, my previous error is still present: now it gives me error not on 0%, but on 56~96% of every upload…

Hey all – yes there was some issue with the link on that page this morning. We resolved it as soon as we saw it. Apologies for the confusion.

@vargash: If you are still having upload problems, can you please consider sending a bug report with details and with WordPress and FTP credentials. We really want to solve any remaining issues on that.

Some lightbox modes work now, but half of them are still broken (missing icons, wrong aspect ratios, do not open links properly,…). At least the default one works ok-ish.

Please, create a gallery, put ‘[nggallery id=xxxx]’ in a post and try all the modes one by one.

‘WP Jquery Lightbox’ + ‘no lightbox in NG’ is still the best option for me.

@renambot: We pretty much test all lightbox effects each time we test before every release. So we know that Lightbox effects are working except for two known issues with Shutter2 and Lightbox. This is the same across a wide array of test instances for us.

I’ve gone ahead tested this again exactly as you requested, and here are my results:

FancyBox – Works fine
ThickBox – Works fine
Highslide – Works fine
Shutter – Works fine
Shutter2 – Works but nav arrows are missing
Lightbox – Doesn’t resize properly to browser

That’s what we’re seeing. Can you please tell us if that matches your results, or if you are seeing something different.

I have installed NextGen 2.0.10 on WordPress 3.6.

1. Size of thumbnail that shows for a each gallery within and extended album is 91×68 px instead of the desired 400×300 px. The plugin is dynamically generating this thumbnail that is too small. In NextGen 1.9.13 I was able to get the larger 400×300 thumbnails to show up for each gallery with the gallery title to the right of the thumbnail. In 2.0.10, the size appears to be hardcoded to the smaller size. How can I fix this?

2. ThickBox does not function correctly. When opened initially, the first image is duplicated within the thickbox.

Any help that you can give me with problem #1 would be appreciated.

– broken icons (next.gif not found and all the other ones)

– if there’s a caption, the navigation text (image xx of yy next/prev) is displayed outside the box
– does not handle singlepic with link
