NextGen 2.0 breaks my theme's sidebar and footer

Running WP 3.6 with Solostream’s WP-Magazine Theme 1.0. NG 2.0 breaks the sidebar and footer of this theme. Reverting back to NG 1.9.13 restores the sidebar and footer. So, that’s what I’m staying on until a fix is found.
