    Thanks for your question. NextGen Gallery is quite popular, and this comes up from time to time, as in this earlier topic:

    MLA with NextGEN Gallery

    NextGen has its own approach to galleries, taxonomies and image storage which is quite different from the WordPress standards. MLA is designed to be “WordPress like”; there is no way to combine NextGen and MLA.
