Next step! Login Problem!

  • OK, I got past the DB problem (trying to do the wp-install while not in wp-admin folder – don’t understand why ANYTHING happened … but, nevermind).
    Now when I try to login … I just get a blank page … next hint please?????

  • Well, another miracle. Who knows what transpired, but it is now working.
    I was perusing the postings related to my problem … and found one that suggested adding the blog directory path “/blogpath/” to the setcookie function in the b2login.php file. So, I tried that … got no login page at all … went and set the code back to the original state … and then it started working.
    Who knows … will play with it more in the morning and see if it stays functional … I mean the blog …geeeeshhh …
    Also had taken note of a suggestion to enter a logout function … then try logging back in. Maybe had just gotten “stuck” in some sort of twilight state … something not initialized or set to a uncooperative value, that got visited/revisited due to my code tweak.
