Next/Previous button inconsistent when Category taxonomy selected

    Hiyas,

    I’ve configured the Single Event “Next / Previous Events” setting with taxonomy Category.

    However, when clicking the Next/Previous buttons I noticed some inconsistencies.

    Eg 1) When Next is clicked the events infinitely loop between a couple of events (eg Event A -> Event B -> Event C -> Event B -> Event C) even though I have many other events in the same Category.

    Eg 2) Next from Event A to Event B and then click Previous it doesn’t go back to Event A but goes to another event.

    Eg 3) If from current event (say in November) and click Next it takes me back to event in past (eg October) even if there are events in December.

    eg 4) If from current event (say in December) and click Preivous it takes me back to event in past (eg October) even if there are events in November.

    The events in the Category have various repeating occurrences (eg weekly, monthly, yearly).

    If I choose taxonomy Tag I have not noticed this issue.

    I expected all the events in the Category to be cycled through by the next/previous scheduled event by date & time when Next/Previous is clicked.

    Is this a bug or a configuration issue?

    The Next/Previous button is based on the published date of the event.

    However, this topic is forwarded to the developer team, and it will be checked and improved for the next updates.
