Next prev links for Custom post type Backend

    Can we add a next prev link for navigating to the next post in the dashboard.when viewing a single post by code?

    Next post in the dashboard? Do you mean a link on a post’s edit screen? I suppose it’s possible, but the practical places to put it wouldn’t be very logical (meta box). There’s unlikely to be a proper action hook to add it where it makes sense. Something could be added by JavaScript, but that makes for a poor user experience since the link will appear after the page appears to have already finished loading.

    I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. Maybe modify your work flow so accessing the next post is less important. Such as leaving the post list table open in another tab and opening new edit screens from there.
