    Merv,

I was just doing a little checking on one of the sites I built and maintain for someone else this morning and noticed something odd, at the bottom of the post there is a section that says “Available Properties” if there are more than 10 available there is a paginator, clicking on “2” doesn’t get you to page 2, the page just refreshes and stays on page 1.

Here is a link to one of the pages it is showing up on LINK.

One strange thing that also has me baffled, is if in the editor I use Preview Changes, it works as it should, but when viewing normally it won’t work.

I am unsure if this is a Theme or a Plugin issue as the part I am seeing a problem in is driven by a shortcode, I am suspecting that it may be a plugin issue, but just wanted to check.

    The shortcode is: [listing_category category_key="property_address_suburb" template="slim" category_value="Wong Amat Tower"]

    Kindest Regards

Could be due to the option order you have used.

    Option Order for listing_category shortcode

    TRY >>
    [listing_category category_key=”property_address_suburb” category_value=”Wong Amat Tower” template=”slim”]

    Merv,

Thanks for the reply, but nope that didn’t fix it.

I’ve posted the same question with the theme forum and they have suggested that it may be a Child Theme issue.

Possibly a theme/other plugin issue as here is a page with the [listing_category] shortcode.

Do you get the same result on a page? Perhaps being a post is causing paging issues?

Bingo, it works fine on a page

Great, your theme may inerfeering with the loop or pagination when the shortcode is on a post entry. Best to configure the parent entry as a page or use the Location Profiles extension to dynamically linke parent information on the listings that are attached to that parent.

    Merv,

The reason I used a post for the Building details is so I could take advantage of the standard WordPress listings/groupings of posts.

I don’t know how I can achieve the same outcome using a page, these buildings are all Condominiums and many are still under construction.

See what I am doing HERE.
