next link shows up, but there’s no more posts

  • I’m showing 12 posts per page. Right now I have 15 or so posts. The first page shows 12, and a next link at the bottom of the page. The second page shows 3 posts, and the previous and next links. But there’s no more posts to show. If you click on the next link on page 2, the user gets a ‘sorry, no posts…’ How do I avoid that (besides listing all the posts on a single page).

    Ok, still having this problem, but I’ve changed around the example above so you wont see it at that link. Anyone else notice this? You run out posts and a ‘Next’ link still shows up at the bottom of the page?

    I’m having the same problem. It’s inexplicable to me. almost half of the 404 errors I get on my web server are from people clicking the misleading “Next Page” links on a permalink such as
