When I have both plugins installed with WordPress 5.7 wherever I have a slider or slideshow for iThemes displaybuddy displayed, expect for the home page, every page results in duplicate content, so the page content displays twice. I turned the nextgen plugin off because it was not good, and low and behold everything worked as it should. For now I have to leave it off because the client can’t have two versions of duplicate content on the page, but the nextgen plugin is clearly doing something to alter the site code. Anyone else have this issue? I iThemes said there is some sort of conflict but could determine what it was and pointed to this plugin. Help! right now running 5.7.1 and had the latest version of Nextgen 3.9.2 installed.

    Thanks in advance

  • Have you tried removing the display buddy too? It sounds, as a fellow user not support, like your iThemes and NGG are both triggering the display each. I’m not positive for sliders, but that is a problem with other ones running Lightboxes, for example (see recent support post). Can you insert only one code or turn off sliders in either NGG or the DisplayBuddy?

    Hi @tcomm,

I may be wrong but I personally haven’t heard of any conflicts with iThemes DisplayBuddy so we hope that you wouldn’t mind reaching to us at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ so our team could have a closer look at the issue.

Sorry for delay, here is an example from installing wp 5.7.1 from 5.6.3 and the content duplicating. I have to turn the next gen plugin off soon as we are not using it it’s just not turned off, and this is what it does. It only happens on the pages with the slider from slider ithemes plugin on it, the pages without it does not duplicate the content.

    Hi @tcomm,

In the meantime, it looks like our developers have confirmed a similar issue in other plugin’s context and that’s going to be fixed in the next NGG update so we hope that you wouldn’t mind letting us know at that time if that will fix the problem in in your case too.
