Next and Previous Posts leading to 404s on Author pages

    I have a couple of author’s on a blog, and so I’ve used the author aspect of archive.php to allow them to have their blogs at wildscotsman.com/john or wildscotsman/jeff

    Everything seems to be working wonderfully, except that the Previous Posts at the bottom of the page lead to 404 errors.

    The Next/ Previous posts links on other pages, such as categories, archives, etc. all work, just not on Author pages.

    Anyone ever experienced this before or know a work around?

    I figured this out. While WP allows you to link to author pages in this manner:

    yourblog.com/authorname

    The next and back links will only work if you use this formula:

    yourblog.com/author/authorname
