[NexGen Public Uploader] Error message

    Unable to write to directory WINABSPATHwp-content/gallery/user-uploads. Is this directory writable by the server?

    So that is the error I get when I try to upload an image using nextgen’s public uploader. I have the the recent version of both the plugin and wordpress. Wondering if there is a fix or something I need to change. Thank you.
