    Hello all,

    I’ve reached out to the Imagely general questions desk but wanted to get this question on here as well. I currently have NexGEN Gallery ( the free version ) installed on one of my clients website. I’d like to upgrade to the Plus version in order to get the additional gallery configurations and lightboxes. I’ve never paid more than ~ 35.00 for ANY plugin that I’ve purchased over the years so paying the amount for the Plus version is unusual but I’m willing to do it under these particular circumstances. I went to purchase the Plus version and saw a note that said, this is an annually occurring fee. That can’t be right can it? I’ve never paid an annual fee for any plugin, much less 79.00. I know that every plugin has an option to renew tech support after a certain period, but I’ve never heard of an annual fee for a plugin.

    Can someone clear this up for me.

    It’s my fault for not reading the very bottom section of the pricing plan.
    The initial payment is in ‘subscription’ format and the subscription can be cancelled at any time, but the purchaser will lose access to upgrades and support upon cancellation, is that correct? Or does a certain amount of support time come with the initial payment? This business model on the subscription plan is not uncommon and for those who just assume that it’s a one time payment and pay with credit card, may just forget about it and not even notice that they are automatically being charged an additional fee annually. Which is good for imagely’s bottom line. What I plan on doing is purchasing the NexGEN Plus and then cancelling the subscription right away so as not to forget that it’s an annual subscription. I see now that the higher price structure ( which I was surprised about at first ) includes the ability to install and activate on multiple sites. That is well worth the extra money in my opinion.

    About your question, you will be covered with updates and support until the membership you paid expires (1 year).

    And yes! You can use our plugins in multiple sites.
