• Hey,

Great plugin, but it seems it renders the template editor in Newspaper theme dysfunctional.
If I switch off your plugin it works again, so the conflict is between the two.
Also, authors of Newspaper theme have a description on possible conflict, in which there is a short explanation for the error message it throws upon entering the theme template editor:
“The model does not match the content”
“The relevant explanation is the following:
This error appears in the tagDiv Composer page builder screen when you are trying to edit a page that contains unsupported shortcodes. The most frequent cases are: the page was modified in the backend by adding code or scripts directly through the TinyMCE editor or if you’ve inserted HTML code with missing tags. This error is also be caused by specific plugins that insert code into pages. You should not use such plugins.”
    https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/

So, it seems like your plugin inserts some sort of shortcode into pages that makes it incompatible with the theme I (and many people use). It could also cause conflicts with other themes I guess.
    Thank you for your attention.

    a useful addition:
when I use your shortcode in the single post page template instead of the comment block, the conflict is not there!
So, as a temporal solution, the DCL shortcode can be used.
Seems like the DCL plugin has a conflict with the Newspaper comment block that it replaces.

ok, in fact the shortcode works only if Newspaper comment count element is also present in the single post template, which makes me suspicous that it is messing with something t should not. so lets say, the shortcode does not work either ??
