Newspaper Plugins

    Hey everybody!

    I am building my first newspaper theme and I would like to add some functionality with plugins/widgets.
    Among all I would like to add (mostly on a sidebar):

    – A tabbed widget with: Most Commented, Viewed, Recent
    – Some multimedia carousel that supports image + video
    – A way to show an external bookstore images
    – A way to show the first page PDF
    – A classified widget with excerpts of a classifieds section

    Do any of you guys know how to achieve this? What plugins/widgets do you recommend?
