Newsletters Not Sending Once More

    Hi There,

    Every six months or so Mailpoet stops sending out newsletters I submit a query recommendations are to use third party paid service etc. which is unnecessary as my site has plenty of traffic and then within a month there is MailPoet update and it’s suddenly working again. This hasn’t happened this time. Every since the latest WordPress update to 4.5.2 it’s stopped working.

    I have tested by sending myself a test newsletter that works. I’ve have used PHP for years with no problem. I can send a test mail from PHP and Sendmail and there are no issues, but the scheduled newsletter is still not being sent out. Any ideas? It’s two months now since my subscribers received their monthly newsletter and when it misses the sending function it looses that content and starts all over again for the new month.

    1. Can you run a test at https://www.mail-tester.com and reply with the results?

    2. Are your newsletters going out, but are not being received? Or are they not going out at all?

    Hi There,

    I managed to get it to work this morning, I spent most of the weekend reviewing plugin’s that may be causing issue and finally this morning the following worked:

    PHP mail – selected
    web ABI – not slected
    Enable MailPoet’s Cron – ticked and selected no thanks I have enough traffic on my website.

    The WordPress update must be causing some sort of issue each time, as these settings differ from what was previously in place.
