I created a newsletter and scheduled to send in one hour. An hour an a half later, I checked and the 68 schedule messages were supposedly sent. BUT have not been received by recipients. I am two of those recipients (at two different email addresses) I notice a LOT of other people complaining that newsletter and welcome emails don’t go out.

Looking at the Help information of the plugin, I see no errors. MP/ System status shows the send of my newsletter as a completed task. What does Paused Task mean? How do I un-pause them?

    Status	running
    Started at	June 15, 2021 2:32 pm
    Sent emails	8
    Retry attempt	none
    Retry at	none
    Error	none
    Total completed tasks	15
    Total running tasks	0
    Total paused tasks	32
    Total scheduled tasks	0

Why did my message NOT REALLY go out?

I see very long backlog of un-answered issues in the forum, and am very concerned about the reliability of this plug-in.

Thanks, but I submitted this issue six, almost seven days ago. This is the first response I’ve gotten. I had newsletters I had to get out, couldn’t wait around for help to maybe come. I gave up on Mailpoet, have gone to Mailchimp.com. It is a very mature, reliable product, is transparent in how it works, tracks email opens and link clicks, and offers a free account for 2,000 subscribers / 10,000 emails per month. MP appears to have interesting integration features with WP, but if it won’t reliably do its core job — send messages, all the other stuff is mute. MANY other users are complaining about the same issue. My Mailpoet experiment is done.

    Hi there @gregorybeyer,

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with MailPoet!

There could be several reasons for sending not working with MailPoet, but most of them are either related to a MailPoet account (it can be pending, etc) or the environment you’re on (cron not working as expected): https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/231-sending-does-not-work.

We’re doing our best to reply on forums, however, paid Premium customers are our priority. Paid Premium customers are eligible for email support and we tend to reply to them within 24-48 hours normally.

Again, I apologize that you didn’t get help on time when you expected it.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
