• Your newsletter spam in dashboard is more than annoying. Please remove that. Why are you spamming dashboard?

Thank you for your feedback, and for taking the time to leave a review.

I’m sorry to hear that the newsletter prompt frustrated you. We included the option to dismiss it, but as it may reappear occasionally, we understand that some users find this less than ideal.

Seeing a one-star review solely for a newsletter prompt is a bit unexpected, especially since the plugin itself works to remove duplicate posts as intended, saving you a ton of time. However, we always appreciate feedback and will continue to refine the balance between keeping users informed and ensuring a smooth user experience.

    Best of luck going forward.

There is no option to dismiss it, you didn’t do it properly. Why is this unexpected? You would like that somebody over and over again shows ad in your living room because you use their product?

Thank you for the great idea! I’ve actually taken your suggestion and made the newsletter prompt a permanent fixture on the plugin page. I even added a thank you in the changelog for your contribution. ??

As for your ad analogy, I guess I see things a bit differently. Personally, if someone is offering a free tool that saves me time, I wouldn’t mind them asking for a small favor in return—seems fair to me. I can always ignore the request, at least I would never go complain about it. But we all have our own views, and I totally respect that.

Since the prompt is no longer in the dashboard, I can only assume this brings the plugin back to being a 5-star solution, right?

At this point, I think we’ve covered everything, so I wish you all the best going forward. Stay safe and take care.
