Newsletter signup

I’m hoping someone might be able to help me out. I’m looking for a way for visitors to signup to my newsletter. I’ve reviewed loads of plugins, but they are all way more than I need. I don’t want fancy integrations to Mailchimp or any other service. I don’t want any form of subscription service or cloud solution. I don’t want an email design tool. I just need to be able to capture the email address in the database.

You’d think it’s be simple enough, but apparently not. I really don’t want to have to write my own plugin for this. Can anyone suggest a plugin for this?
