• Hi Ryan,

    plug-in is awesome, thanks.

We are looking to add the little checkbox [Newsletter] opt-out, onto our form but not sure how to suppress the ISoft integration, or if that is not needed how to achieve this.

EG We have created a tag in Isoft which identifies the form and creates a record for that form – using the Isoft Options Tab in your plug-in and adding a tag – which is awesome – all works perfectly, again love it – from this we can easily add the user to our mailing list.

BUT we need to be able to add that checkbox at the bottom of the form that we are all used to that allows users to opt out, and ensure that ISoft does not add them to the mailing list.

We can easily add a checkbox in CF7 and set it to “ticked/selected” but we do not know how to stop the integration if opted out/unticked, OR, how to identify the opt out once it has been synced to Isoft.

Any help or direction on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    James

    Hi James,

Thanks for the message. I’ll have to add a field for “email marketing” to the plugin. Currently (as you noticed), the plugin automatically opts-in a contact to receive email marketing. I’ll create a field within the next couple of days so that this can be turned off, via a checkbox.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,
Did this feature ever get implemented? I’m trying to do something similar by simply providing a checkbox on a form to allow the user to select/deselect subscription to our newsletter.
I would then simply like to apply a tag based on this checkbox being selected. (no tag for deselected)
Currently I seem to be only able to apply a tag based on the whole form being submitted?

    Thank you.
    Peter.
