Newsletter Not Delivering?

You email could be blocked by your provider if it has content filters. Try to create a simple newsletter with only few lines of text and disabling the tracking.

If email was blocked then I should not receive test mail even. I am using Hostgator and activated the SMTP and did the test mail, which was successfully delivered. But when I send drafted Newsletter to test mail it shows the mail was successfully sent and but still waiting for delivery.

Do you means when you use the save and test button in the newsletter editor panel? When you press such button you should see a message with the list of test email address the newsletter has been sent.

Are you seeing that?

No I am talking about testing SMTP delivery, in which the mail gets delivered. In diagnostic section too, the test mail gets delivered.

While save and test doesn’t work, it shows that the mail has been sent but still there is no delivery of any such mail.

Did you test the SMTP from the SMTP configuration panel and check if the SMTP is marked as active?

The issue is resolved, but my newsletter is being posted in promotion tab in Gmail. Is there any way that the newsletter is sent and delivered in primary tab?

As far as I know there is no way to force the gmail tab where your emails should go.
