and when i completed SMTP configuration,the page was simply blank,i don’t know how to solve this problem

Hi from the error you reported you have not set the hostname for the SMTP. If you have not SMTP details, do not activate it. You provider should support the mail sending without SMTP.

i already asked the host provider,hostgator,but the problem still can’t be solved

No, i enable the SMTP from Newsletter, i use hostgator domain and host

Ok, now the error is different: you get back a message about a non existing email address. I image you tested with [redacted] which is reported as non existant address.

So even more you should ask hotgator why you get that error. Have you tested that email from your email account sending a message?

You should send to hostgator details about the SMTP you’re using and about the test to that email which fails. If you do a diagnostic test to another address, does it work?

I installed Easy WP SMTP plugin, and I can send a test email to [ Redacted ]

So, if you disable the SMTP setting, keeping Easy WP SMTP, Newsletter will use it to send emails (check even the options to send email directly to be unchecked).

If that work you should keep Easy WP SMTP, so even other blog messages are sent with your SMTP.
