    Is it possible to have the checkbox be checked in checkout? We tried with js but something is bugging out.

  • I’m having the same problem, we are trying to have the checkbox “checked” by default like MailChimp’s checkout subscription checkbox, but for some reason we could not figure out how.

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to make the checkbox pre-checked, as this is against our anti-spam policy, which you can see on this page: https://www.brevo.com/legal/antispampolicy/

    In order to have the consent of your contacts, the checkbox must not be pre-checked by default, and the contact must have checked the box himself.
