    Hello,

I’m looking for a newsletter plugin that only saves the mail addresses to a txt file or somewhere else I can reach without confirmation mails. Anyone can help me?

Generally this is a bad idea. You WANT people to confirm (to prevent you from being a spammer, yo). Subscribe2 and other similar plugins store the emails in the database and have export tools.

Yeah, I agree with you on that but my customer wanted this way in spite of my warnings… Thank you Ipstenu!

I would posit it’s your job to tell the client they’re an idiot… but in a nice way ??

Last time I think I said “Actually, best business practices are for opt-in mailing lists. This generates positive credibility within your community and makes your brand more reliable.”

    Haha ??
You are totally right but sometimes when they don’t stop crying, I can’t do anything else after all those explanations.
Believe me, I made them wait for 2 months with “I’m trying to find a way to make your non-confirming newsletter” lie just to convince them ??
They made me start thinking that they are the spammers and viagra sellers with their courage… ??
