Newsletter

  • Hello together,

    I have a question. I want to create a newsletter for our association on our WordPress site without using a Mailserver on our webspace. Is that possible? Can WordPress be used as a Mailserver? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

    WordPress is site building software. It is not a MTA (Mail transfer agent) software. It does not and cannot act as mail server.

    WordPress only sends mail to internal MTA or internal or external mail server (via SMTP or API, if you use appropriate plugins).

    I guess you also could ask if WordPress can make coffee for you. ??
