    Hi,

    I have issues with Stefano Lissa’s ‘Newsletter’ plugin. When someone wants to sign in for my newsletter and the newsletter registration should be sent by the registration form an error message appears telling you that you should turn on Cookies and Javascript.

    I just read another thread where you recommended to turn on ‘compatibiliy mode’. I did that and the issue seems to disappear. Should I keep running my site with this mode tuned on?

    Hi Michael,

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having this issue.

    Yes, you can use Compatibility Mode as long as you like and it will work fine. For more details on the feature: https://www.redsandmarketing.com/plugins/wp-spamshield/#wpss_compatibility_mode

    There is a slight sacrifice of some features, but overall it still has excellent spam protection.

    There may be either a JavaScript conflict on your site, or a conflict with the Newsletter plugin. We’ll do some tests on our end, but it would be helpful if we could run a couple tests on your site as well. In about 10 minutes, we should be able to figure out what the issue is. Would you mind submitting a support request at the WP-SpamShield Support Form? That will allow us email back and forth with you and find a more permanent solution.
